End of Boys’ Basketball Season

The boys ended their season yesterday with an amazing record; they only had one loss all year with eleven wins.  They played well and played hard every game.  We are very proud of all of them.

The poms team did wonderful performing and cheering yesterday as well, as they always do!  Their new uniforms look so nice.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday’s game:

Next sport is Girls’ Basketball!

Lane’s First Spelling Bee

Last Friday, Lane hosted their first school spelling bee.  The West Coast had their representation from the following students:  Ben C., Ethan P., Mariah S., April S., Katrina S., Sebastian W., Micah W.,and Lechaunt W.  We also had Gabby J. and Sienna M. qualify, but both girls were sick that day.  These students qualified by scoring the best on the preliminary West Coast spelling test and then being the top spellers in the qualifying spelling bee.  We were very impressed by the spelling skills exhibited by our scholars.  Congrats to Ben who won the school spelling bee and will be moving on to represent Lane at the District Spelling Bee!
